In reply to Doug. I donated a 2004 vehicle in May of 2013. What followed was shear confusion, lack or organization and very poor professionalism. On 5 different occasions personnel contacted me asking for the power of attorney papers that they only mailed in Sept 2013. This was due to the fact that they lost the title which was in the glove compartment of the vehicle. I returned the power of attorney papers immediately upon receipt on Sept 28, 2013. I still have no receipt for my donation and no return calls. I would not recommend this organization at all. They are apparently as disorganized as our US government.

The jingle is nothing to sneeze at, but I’ve donated two junkers to K4K and its been a good experience. You also get a voucher for a hotel stay (I forget the details – haven’t used one yet) in one of a number of major cities. For one of the cars, I didn’t even have to be around when they came to pick it up.

So, anyway, I second the recommendation.

You should of told him that the burst in the break line was a feature. Don’t know how that would fly but, it might get an odd reaction….Ha!
