Getting David Partlett, author of the Oxford History of Board Games, as one of the authors was a great move by Lowder. This looks to be a great followup to the excellent Hobby Games book.

I play for fun, not fiendishness. I am not a hardcore Descent player, but I do have copies of the game and a number of the supplements that have seen my dining room table a number of times.

A big book of Descent? That sounds good. How much did you play the game before setting down to write that? And exactly how fiendish an Overlord have you proved to be? ;)
