Also, being part of the fan community can be a way to get noticed at smaller RPG publishers.  I know when I was Managing Editor at Sovereign Press/Margaret Weis Productions a few of the new writers I used for Dragonlance 3.5 books came from the community at the Dragonlance Nexus and Dragonlance.com (same message forums, just two ways to get there).]]></description>
