I’ve sent Mr Goldfarb a flaming Email which I don’t expect to get responded to chastising him for targeting D&D gamers as being un-american, I reminded him that like many others we have plenty of other gamers that are soldiers, airmen and sailors that play games on a regular basis and rank up there with McCain’s service. Many of my friends of liberal, and many are conservative, and I would not label any, for whatever they do as being unpatriotic. The ironic part is that the people who’d respond to this are already firmly in the RNC’s pocket. They’d likely never vote for Obama. However, the McCain camp needs to motivate them to get out and vote rather than stay home on Election Day. I think it is more Anti-Intellectualism than anything else. If nothing else, the Republican party wants us to be afraid of smart people. The media, science, anyone with a plan that goes beyond stuffing your own pockets with other people’s money, all of these groups are to be mocked for being obviously smart.
