Thanks, Jeremy! Will's way too kind too. That moment Will describes above? Wherever and whenever that was, I'm sure there was beer talking. :)

The following comment came to me from Will Hindmarch right after I had finished the interview. I hate to let a good comment go to waste:

"Matt Forbeck is everywhere. He seems to know everyone. And why wouldn't everyone want to know him? He's good people.

"Somewhere along the line, at some Gen Con or local gaming convention, someone grabbed Matt around the shoulder and said, "This guy, right here, is the nicest guy in gaming." That, before long, turned into The Nicest Guy In Gaming (pronounce those capitals).

"You could put Forbeck in a sash, like a pageant winner, that bore the title and people would look at it and nod to themselves.

"The thing that's so irksome about Forbeck, though, is that it isn't like he's using that niceness to cover up for bad work or laziness or any of the other things other writers try to cover up with good behavior. He has a reputation for both volume and punctuality, writing novels the way Superman leaps tall buildings.

"The Nicest Guy In Gaming makes the rest of us look bad and we love him for it.
