Bryan: I&#039;m sorry to hear about your dad. My best wishes to him. My stepmother had brain cancer a few years ago, soon after the quads were born, and they managed to entire remove it with a new gamma-knife procedure. It works far better than the whole-brain radiation, which usually kills the patient, just not as fast as the cancer would. Nancy has been cancer free for a few years now. 

Blaze: How&#039;s your dad doing? Please give Joe my best. 

Sean: Good luck to your dad too. It does seem like a rash of father-related illnesses happening these days. I suppose it shouldn&#039;t be too surprising that we face these things as we start staring down middle age, but we all always hope for better times and more of them.
