I’m not looking to censor you or attack you. I’m just an anonymous person that started reading your blog because it was referenced on others I was reading. I think you could have presented the same content with better reverence. That’s all.

I didn’t know Gary or anyone in his family. I was just one of those early geeks from Wisconsin that remembers camping out at Jackson Park to play at Parkside and going to the mini-cons at the Lake Como elementary (with those itty-bitty urinals).

Your post, though apparently not intended, appears to the casual reader of your blog very much in line with today’s shallow look-at-me celebrity shmooze-fest we all see to often. I’m certain the frequent reader of your blog didn’t see it that way.

When I posted my earlier note about Gary’s funeral, I wanted to share the day with people who couldn’t be there, from the only perspective I could: my own. The photos help illustrate the event. Not everyone who stops by the site knows what I look like—especially in a suit, which I rarely rare—so I thought I should point myself out.
