I'm glad you liked the earlier books, Mark, and you have my apologies for the errors that always seem to creep in.

As for the comic, I do have some input on the artwork, over and above just writing descriptions for the artist. Both Boom! and GW have plenty of influence, though, and it's a matter of finding a talent who makes us all happy.

Editor Joe Abraham of Boom! has done just that, although I'm don't know if I'm at liberty to reveal the artist's name quite yet. He has a gritty, fun style that seems to work perfectly with the material, and I can't wait to see the book in print so I can read it too.

I ordered mine yesterday! (For the word of the year announcement) w00t!

I really enjoyed the first three Matt. My faith in them was not unfounded. I did spot quite a few typos here and there, some where mix-ups of names the worst I saw was one of the chapters in 'Death Match' was numbered wrong!

It does not bother me though because the narrative and characters were crafted excellently.

Looking forward to this one now and it seems the comic too! Just had a quick look at their site and they have some skilful artists. Do you get much say in the visual side of writing for comics? Who are the artists working on your stuff? (If it is ok to ask.)

Happy Holidays
