Thanks, Will and Gnome!

Ross: I have photos of the Games Workshop Design Studio crew from the late '80s. That's enough I think.

Seriously, I can only speculate to the reasons why I've been so fortunate. I suspect it boils down to number of things:

1) I worked on the game for GW back in 1990 and have a good handle on it.

2) As far as I known, no one else had pitched the Black Library on any Blood Bowl novels when I did.

3) Blood Bowl isn't easy to wrap your head around, and they like the job I've done with it so far.

4) There isn't enough demand for more Blood Bowl books beyond the ones I write.

As for the Boom! Studios gig, they wanted a comic-book writer who knew the Blood Bowl world backward and forward. I've written a number of comics in the past, and no one has a better command of the continuity I've built up around the game than I do. That made me the easy choice.

Matt,

Blood Bowl comics sounds like possibly a better medium to convey the chaos and mania and noise of the game, so I'll ask my comic shop to reserve copies when they come in.

My question for you - and I've no idea whether or not you know the answer, so if you don't, I ask you to speculate as publicly as ethics allow - is this: how is that you seem to have become the only voice for Blood Bowl, as far as fiction is concerned? BL haven't (to my knowledge) commissioned anyone else to write a novel, you got the comics too... what's going on?

Am reading Rumble, good so far, keep it up!
