I liked your phone a lot, Darren, but Sprint doesn't work well in my house, and I'm unconvinced Verizon will either. I need something I can actually talk on from here. :)

I would say go Helio. You can get unlimited everything for 119 a month...or go with one of their other plans that are less with limited minutes. They use both sprint and verizon, so you never really drop a call. The phones are nice and so far I’ve had it for little over a month now... just Awesome.

Hey Matt. Dave from Digital Dungeon Cast here. I have to agree with Christian. In my day job I'm an IT consultant and I deal with at least 5 different phones with 5 diffrerent providers every week and trying to sync mail/contacts/calendars etc. First question without a doubt is coverage. Especially since you never leave the house and work from home. I'm a happy AT&T customer and have been for several years. I especially like their rollover plan where if you don't use all of your minutes up in a month you bank them for later use.

As far as customer service goes you just have to face the fact that no matter who you call you will have OK expereinces and bad experiences. Its a fact of cellular life.

Good points, Christian. I just tested out an AT&T phone here in my house, and it worked flawlessly. Sprint and US Cellular dropped out all the time here. Verizon is the only other contender in the area, and their coverage map isn't very specific. Looks like AT&T for me.
