Thanks for putting this comment up! Sorry I am late to comment --- I just found it by random.

Right now, we have over 150 stores signed up and 16 publishers involved. Cross your fingers everyone.

Hard to say. A large company like Hasbro often jobs out its print-ad buys to its ad house rather than taking care of it internally. Still, Wizards places ads in Marvel and DC comics, so putting them in Shonen Jump (which has a larger circulation than all but the top-selling traditional comics, depending on the month) would seem like a natural venue.

Thanks for the link. I think this is a great idea. I was skeptical at first and asked myself the question "How would this work?" But Aldo was way ahead of me with an adventure/quickstart rules model. I think it is genius. Companies like Pinnacle already offer online Quickplay rules, but getting printed copies to game store is a great idea.

Sometimes I wonder about the RPG companies and whether they really want to sell rpgs or just play them with the people they already know. For example, why aren't they advertising in Shonen Jump? It only has 200k+ subscribers in the US, has a gaming oriented audience (sure card and video games but 51% play a fantasy/rpg-video game), and its editors are hoping that they will love "Dungeons and Dragons: Tactics" for the PSP.

Wouldn't it be natural for Habro to advertise in the next issue of Shonen Jump when they review the PSP version?

Will they?
