I get the same thing about the Origins Awards Hall of Fame. Many people just assume I’m in it. I’ve been nominated a few times, but never made the cut.

Others tell me they’d thought I’d been writing novels for years and years, although my first mass-market novel came out in 2004. It’s odd how perception and reality don’t always mesh, even among friends.
