I think this is good news.. I never tried Chaos League because the StarForce copy protection was distributed in the demo (yeah, I'm weird that way). I'd like to see what it will be like - I've got a long history of making my own version of computerized bloodbowl. Hell, I just got a MS for training neural networks to learn how to play the game!

I second the notion of pre-painted teams.

This is great news indeed. I have been looking forward to a new iteration of the game since your books came out. I have thought for some time that one of two things needed to happen. Either that the rules needed to be reworked completely in a new edition, similar to the changes from second to third edition, or that the game needed a couple of computer versions (one "simulation" and one "madden" style both could be on the same CD).

I love the game, but playing on some of the online simulations available has proven to me that I won't be able to make a pro career as a Blood Bowl manager. I personally think with the whole "pre-painted" explosion that any future board games ought be prepainted rather than unpainted. That's just me though.

As for the computer game, that would be great and would bring BB to a broader audience. Though the old CG may not have sold as well as they want, a FANTASY football game fits a nice niche.
