I can see where you’re coming from. I’m of the opinion, perhaps wrongly so, that part of the problem is that there’s little on the market to interest “today’s youth.” The 70s and 80s were a different political, cultural clime than that of today.

Gaming simply has not kept up with the times.

Granted, you have films such as LOTR, Matrix, Sky Captain, etc that could ignite some geekery but…they can only do so much.

The geeks they are a-changin’.
