I haven't seen an actual copy of Rippers yet, but it's based on Savage Worlds/The Great Rail Wars. Dracula's Revenge is simpler, as it's played on a grid and each character has fewer stats. The initiative system in DR lends itself to strategy a bit more too, as it's nonrandom.

DR is not a miniatures game. It comes with all the playing pieces you need in the box. They're little standees printed on plastic cards, which makes them snazzy and durable. Games usually last 1-2 hours.

Still, I'm sure Rippers is a fine game too. My solution: Buy both!

I love the idea and i'm curious how this compares with Pinnacle's "Rippers" (http://www.peginc.com/OurGames/SWRippers.htm) in terms of gameplay? How many figs needed for a basic game? How much time needed for a game?

I love the genre and I want both =)

Thanks for the help!
