Spot on, Matt – very sound advice. I’ve been doing this over a year and I have yet to break into 5 digits of earnings. That’s with working on 14 books, too :\ Of course, I’m still only getting $.03/word…If anyone is keeping score, that means I’d need to geat around a million words a year in print to make $30k, just enough to support my house and a semblance of a lifestyle. So barring a sugar-momma or windfall from a long-lost rich uncle, I don’t think I can go full-time anytime soon 🙂
