Welcome to the official page for Shotguns & Sorcery, the home of Dragon City! The setting originally saw light as a series of short stories and then novels, but 2020 also saw the release of Shotguns & Sorcery: The Roleplaying Game.

We’ve launched a Kickstarter for Shotguns & Sorcery 5E sourcebook! Click on the graphic below to check out the campaign. It ends on Tuesday, November 16, so don’t miss it.

Meanwhile, “What’s Shotguns & Sorcery?” you ask. Well…

If you’re interested in the fiction, the best way to read it is to pick up Shotguns & Sorcery: The Omnibus. This contains every Shotguns & Sorcery story written to date, as well as an exclusive novella “The Job Never Ends,” which is currently only available there. You can also grab the short stories and novels individually if you like, but the omnibus is a bargain.

If you’d like to know more about the setting, here’s a free 20-page preview of Shotguns & Sorcery: The 5E Sourcebook, which features an entire chapter about Dragon City.

Shotguns & Sorcery: The Roleplaying Game is based on the fantasy noir stories of New York Times-bestselling author Matt Forbeck and powered by Monte Cook Games’ Cypher System. Written by Forbeck, with rules by legendary game designer Robert J. Schwalb, the 276-page book contains everything you need to launch your campaign.

Shotguns & Sorcery: The Roleplaying Game is not available in stores. You can purchase a PDF of the book directly via Gumroad, or you can get it through DriveThruRPG. Print-on-demand copies of the book are available exclusively through DriveThruRPG.

A limited number of copies from the original print run are also available and are being sold at a fixed $60 each plus shipping via eBay. When you purchase one of these, Matt would be happy to personalize and autograph it upon request. We’d also be happy to send you a free copy of the PDF to go with it.
