Gen Con 2009 Schedule

My favorite time of year is coming up soon: Gen Con (August 13β€”16)

I’m an Industry Insider Guest of Honor at my favorite show once again, and my schedule is packed. All of the seminars are in Room 212 of the Indianapolis Convention Center unless otherwise noted. All events (except for the VIG mixer) are free, although you must have a Gen Con badge to attend, and I recommend getting a ticket for each if you can, especially for the Friday afternoon concert.

Wednesday, August 12

9 PM: The Diana Jones Awards Ceremony. The annual ceremony/industry party for the Diana Jones Award, held at its traditional, top-secret location.

Thursday, August 13

12 PM: Freelancing (or How to Get Your Second Freelance Project)! A seminar with Stan! and Howard Taylor. (SEM0906346)

1 PM: Scribe Awards Ceremony. John Helfers presents the Special Gaming Scribe Award for 2009. My Mutant Chronicles novelization has been nominated, so I’ll be there to find out who wins. In the Lincoln Room in the Marriott. (SEM0902911)

6 PM: The Top 5 Gaming Products EVER! A seminar with Stan!, Richard Borg, Ben Clark, Mike Gray, Howard Taylor, and James Wyatt. I suspect the concert may run over a bit, so I can’t confirm I’ll be here for sure. (SEM0906353)
