Happy birthday, America! Number 232 and counting.
The high temperature today in Beloit is predicted to be a stunningly appropriate 76° F. The flood waters have receded, and there are picnics and fireworks on the schedule for tonight.
I hope everyone out there has a wonderful day/weekend no matter where you might be.

Just got back from a bike ride with the kids to the Bristol 4th of July parade,
the oldest 4th of July parade in the country. Cloudy but nice for a loooooong bike ride with two kids in tow!
It’s looking like I won’t make GenCon this year, for the first time in like 4 years.
Bummer, but I’ll be back next year. Sure will miss the book signings and seminars, though! That’s all I ever really go for, plus the brew at the Ram.

It’s fiction but not fantasy. But it is set in Amsterdam, so kinda fantastic. lol

Sounds like a wonderful day, Stephen! It’s too bad you won’t make Gen Con this year, but I’ll be sure to look for you next year instead. And I’ll tip a RAM beer in your direction for sure.
Good luck with the new novel too! That’s a great site you have there. Be sure to let me know when you start letting that novel of yours out into the world.
