It’s that time of month again. My latest essay is up on Storytellers Unplugged. This time around I muse about muses and what keeps writers writing when they’d rather be somewhere else. Be sure to check it out.

Truer words have never been written.

I read your essay. Then I read it again. What you say is nothing new—I’ve read similar things express by others before. The reason I read it again was because I couldn’t help think that what you’re saying about writing holds true for life. Being a husband, a father, a friend, a (fill in the blank)… All these things come down to commitment and sometimes that’s all that gets you from one good moment to the next.

    Good essay.

Well put, and a wonderful way to help make my point. Thanks!
