The fine people at OddCon (read: Jerome Van Epps) have asked me to join them this weekend in Madison, WI. I’ll be there Saturday at noon for:
Turning your favorite story or show into a game. What kind of game would you make of Dr. Blink? Matt Forbeck, Christopher Jones, John Kovalic, Melissa S. Kaercher, Monica Valentinelli, Jerome Van Epps.
And then at 4:30 PM for:
All good things must come to an end: Looking forward to the last Harry Potter book. Matt Forbeck, Lisa Freitag, Greg Rihn, Ruth Nichols, John Wardale, Richard West
I’m looking forward to seeing many old friends and making new ones too. If you’re in the area, be sure to stop in and say hi.

FYI, it appears that Nina Hess has located and translated Zendric’s “A Practical Guide to Monsters” for purchase this October (http://ww2.wizards.com/Books/Mirrorstone/Spotlights/Article.aspx?doc=mirrorspot_practicalguidetomonsters)

Thanks, Christian! I don’t see any note about Zendric on the page though. I wonder if she’s made the link in her head too.
Either way, best of luck to her. Nina’s an excellent editor, and I’m looking forward to reading her writing too.

Where is the con (and your panels) being held?

When my friend Eric emailed Wizards, months ago, asking about the cancellation of the Silver Knights books, they told him to keep an eye out for the Zendric book. That’s why I made the mental leap. Well…that and the fact that the Dragon book was written by a certain Kender Halfling.

Blaze: It’s at the Radisson on southwest side of town, 517 Grand Canyon Drive. First panel’s in Oakbrook A & B, and the second is in Gammon.
Christian: Ah, thanks. I suppose that makes some sense.
