Battle Dice Big in Europe

I’d heard that my Marvel Heroes Battle Dice game was doing well in Europe, but I didn’t know for sure what that meant. Malakai at PopDice.com dropped me a recent comment, though, that pointed out that the game is now selling in France. Apparently, there are some extra figures in the European set, which seem to be from Series 2, which was unreleased in North America.

I’m glad to see the game having a second life. Here’s hoping it keeps rolling!

  1. Cobi Branded Products have existed in Poland for 6 months. http://www.battledice.pl
These are fully branded in Polish

I have just discovered http://www.battledice.nu which seems to have been created just recently for Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

Still no French Sites as of yet.

I have only seen the French Starter Set it was listed on eBay.fr I hope to see other packaging soon.

With the strong Euro vs. the US Dollar I wonder if that is what they mean by doing well. As only Poland and UK had boosters, etc.. At the time of their comment?

  3. I haven’t gotten any firm numbers out of Playmates, and since I didn’t have a royalty deal for the game I don’t need them for anything other than satisfying my endless curiosity.

Thanks again for the links, though! I get a real kick out of seeing my work in other languages, and the dubbed-over TV commercials are just too cool.
