On the IGDA Board

I recently joined the just-formed board of the Madison chapter of the International Game Developers Association. Together with Eric Francksen, Norb Rozek, and my old Human Head boss Tim Gerritsen, we’re ready to take on the world—or at least Wisconsin.

At the same time, I’m helping edit the quarterly newsletter for the IGDA Writers SIG. It seems like no matter what field I find myself in, there are always cool people hoping to work together to make things happen.

About Matt Forbeck

I'm a novelist and game designer and a proud husband and father.

Matt, your link to the IGDA actually takes you to the IDGA, which is something entirely different (or eeriely the same, depending on how you look at it.)

    Cheers,
    Cam

    Whoops! Thanks, Cam! Fixed.

The Madison IGDA needs to learn to host meetings where it’s not four bucks a beer! I suggest the Alumni House ((if that jernt’s still open…can’t say as i’ve been to Beloit in a while))!

You know about the Alumni House? Yeah, it’s still here, although I think a stiff wind could blow it over. Honestly, I haven’t been in there in years and can’t tell if it’s ever open or just rotting quietly.
