Battle Dice Update

Since I last mentioned the Marvel Heroes Battle Dice website back on June 8, they’ve added:

Be sure to stop by and check them all out. I like the new wallpapers a lot, although my favorite is still the one with Dr. Doom clutching a pop-die in his outstretched fist. “This game will be won by DOOM!

  1. Matt,
What has happened – I know you don’t have much to do with this but how sad….

Playmates has decided to refocus their attention away from Battle Dice support, and as a result, the web site is being shut down. At this time, plans for a Series 2 release in the US are on hold and we do not know when, if ever, Series 2 or DC Battle Dice will be released.

What a truely sad day for gaming indeed. Matt You had a fantastically unique game here. How many great games are out there for my kids to get into gaming. I know it has taken it’s bumps but *ouch* I guess I just don’t know what to say.

My kids loved the game I think you did an outstanding job on something that was not taken too seriously. But think about it one day my kids will grow up and be looking for other games to expand their hopes. I really think many are looking so hard at the Teenage and above market but games like MBD are a great spring board to get the younger audience involved. 5 years from now my kids will be looking at your other products. Hopefully I can keep them interested through other venues until then.
