  1. Ha! I think I just made a spectacle of myself by watching this at work!

Is it wrong that I anticipated the “my lawful good paladin — I know, that’s redundant” joke?

  4. I tell you what…if Don Bassingthwaite and Matt Forbeck played DDO, I’d be on in a heartbeat.

FYI, The Binding Stone had almost exactly the right amount of scurrying around Eberron, in my opinion and some of my favorite characters.

Gotta say…Geth and Burch meet in a dark alley…who wins?

  6. They do. πŸ™‚

I’d probably play DDO if I had a PC to play it onβ€”or if the game worked for the Mac. Or if I had time. Or… Ah, who am I kidding? πŸ˜‰

  8. After about the 10th time watching the piece, I finally cracked. I was trying to come up with a “cheat sheet” for non-gaming geeks to help them with the jokes, but I kept being confronted with Stephen’s awkwardness in pronouncing simple things.

I think the thing that set me off the most was his misreading the teleprompter regarding Tenser being a member of the “Circle of Light” when as we all know it is the “Circle of Eight.”

It is a funny piece, but as the Gamers movie show…we as an audience aren’t all that hard to please. And yes I do like that bizarre/inexpensive production.

Overall the Coulbert piece is a funny one, but my inner Greyhawk Grognard can’t take too much of it.

  10. Yeah, Coulbert clearly hasn’t played the game for years. I’m impressed that he (or his staff) managed to get as much right as they did. The fact that they had a set of polyhedral dice on the set got me too.
