Earlier today, I sealed the deal for the mass-market game I mentioned earlier. This should be a great game and get in front of lots of people. Add that to the CCG I’m working on for another company, and it’s going to be a good year for games for me, despite the fact I spend most of my time laboring over novels these days.

In an act of synchronicity, Jeff Babb left a comment on an old post here, inviting me to join him and a bunch of old friends in some online Halo 2 mayhem. Sadly, I haven’t even managed to get through Halo 2’s single-player version yet, despite getting the game back in December. I lack not the desire but the time. I’ve barely touched the Xbox here other than to help my son Marty through some tough spots in the Shrek 2 or Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom games.

The new gig, coupled with everything else I’m doing, means the Xbox will sit lonely for a while longer. Soon, though, I will conquer that game. :)

  1. I haven’t beaten the single player yet either Matt. Heck, I don’t even play it much online. I’m telling you, it’s that 5 hour time difference between the UK and the East Coast that kills me.

    Note to self: Must play Halo 2 tonight. :)

    Great news on sealing that deal though Matt. Good thing you’re successful with all those mouths to feed! ;}
